One of our organizational goals is to enhance operations through a focused continuous improvement plan. A BBQ Dinner will take place at the end of competition.  Menu: hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, cookie, drink.

If you or your athletes have specific dietary needs or do not like the choices provided, please make arrangements to bring your own meal
 

2010 National Games

 
This years Summer Games is a qualifying event for the 2010 National Games in Lincoln Nebraska in the sports of Golf and Bocce. Click here to download the 2010 National Games application for Golf and Bocce.

Bocce

 

* Will be two, one day tournaments. With half the teams competing on Saturday and the second half competing on Sunday.

* Awards will be given out at the end of each day’s competition.

* Anglers who show up after 10:30 am boat launch, will fish from the shore.
 

Golf

 

* Will be a one day tournament on Sunday with level III and V golfers checking in at 11:30 am and level I, II and IV  golfers checking in at 2:00 p.m.

* All golf teams and individuals must have a current up to date handicap assigned to them through the Mass Golf Association.

* To keep your handicap current or to obtain a handicap submit your all your golf score cards to Special Olympics MA, ATTN: Jen Maitland, 450 Old Maple St, Building 1, Danvers, MA 01923.

* Returning teams/individuals only need to submit 4 cards to keep their handicap current. New teams must submit 6 cards to obtain a handicap.

* All Score Cards must be submitted by July 19, 2009.

* Level III Golfers will play 18 holes this year.

Softball

 

* Will be two, one day tournaments. With half the teams competing on Saturday and the second half competing on Sunday.

* No composite bats will be allowed. Only bats approved by ASA and USSSA will be allowed. Umpire will have final say in legality of all bats. For a list of approved bats click here.
