Flag Football & Cheerleading Bowl

soma_website_108(football)_smTournament Format

The epic stage of Gillette Stadium serves as the setting not only for Special Olympics Massachusetts’ state tournament for flag football and cheer-leading, but as the New England Regional Championship as well.

Due the increased popularity of the sport, we are at capacity at Gillette Stadium and cannot accommodate all the teams there. We will be dividing the competition between two venues. This change will allow for Special Olympics Massachusetts to host more teams and give teams the opportunity to compete in more games. Teams will be rotated in and out of Gillette from year to year, so everyone will have an equal opportunity of playing inside the stadium.

2014  tournament will be held on November 16th at Gillette Stadium and Franklin High School. Date is determined by the New England Revolution playoff schedule. Venue Assignments will be coming late October / early November.
