highlighted by athlete and fundraising growth through Chamber and Rotary events,
new corporate sponsors and two largest-ever competitions...
Program Highlights:

Held largest ever South Section Ten Pin
Bowling Assessment Round
(Jan. 27, Taunton AMF Lanes – 219 Athletes & Unified Partners competed)

Held largest ever South Section Basketball
Assessment Round
(Feb. 10, Stonehill College – 45 teams and 467 athletes & Unified Partners
competed)

Held multiple Brockton School Day Games for
bowling (2 events, 170 bowlers) and skating (4 events, 214 skaters) to
accommodate all interested Athletes

Recruited three new corporate volunteer
groups for Fall River School Day Basketball Games at Durfee High (120
Athletes, Mar. 7) – Bank of America, Bristol County Savings Bank, and
Webster Bank

Held successful South Section Candlepin
Tournament in Kingston for 190 bowlers (Mar. 9)

Sent 668 athletes to Winter Games in
Worcester

Launched several new teams: Taunton High
School Track & Field, Greater Taunton Aquatics, L.I.F.E. Basketball and
Track & Field (Hyannis/Mashpee), and Swansea Volleyball and Track & Field

In Volleyball alone, adding 5 new teams for
the May 10 Volleyball Assessment Round from Attleboro Schools, Cardinal
Cushing School, Mansfield, North Attleboro Schools, and New Bedford

Presented to 6 different Special Education
parent groups re: new programs

Continued planning of blockbuster Brockton
Public School “Young Athletes Week” serving 850 integrated students across 3
school-day events (June 2-6)
Fundraising & Development Highlights:

Planned & executed first Cape Cod Passion
Plunge at Old Silver Beach on Feb. 16 – 68 Plungers and $37K raised – more
than double pre-event goal

Held latest Section Leadership Council
meeting 1/31 – planning new SLC for South Shore in 2008

Presented to or attended 10 Chamber events
(Fall River, Brockton, Taunton, Hyannis) and 11 Rotary and other service
club events (Taunton, Falmouth, Brockton)

Joined Taunton Rotary (provides access to all
Rotary clubs)

Added two new corporate sponsors to Bristol
County Corporate Games on Feb. 24 – Webster Bank and ABLE Associates – $8K

Led 5 busloads of supporters for the Jim
Haskins Memorial Ski Challenge at Loon Mtn. – $12K raised (Mar. 9)

Taped recurring local Cable TV shows for Fall
River/Somerset/Swansea and Bourne, plus event-related radio shows for FUN
107 (South Coast) and PIXY 103 (Cape)

Planning first-ever Bristol County Law
Enforcement Torch Run leg in June – adding to existing LETR legs in Plymouth
and Barnstable Counties – overall FR goal is $18K
