Join our Boston based run club this spring!
Running can significantly improve your physical and mental health. Running can reduce stress, improve heart health, and even help alleviate symptoms of depression. Does running sound scary, not fun, hard? Well, run clubs are a great way to have fun while exercising. You’ll meet new people and together work towards becoming a better runner. This run club is for you if you.. never ran before, enjoys the occasional stroll or run regularly. Don’t let the name fool you, walkers are welcomed too!
All fitness levels are welcomed!
Athletes, unified partners, parents, siblings and coaches are all welcomed and encouraged to join!
Location of the run club: The club will run use Jamaica Pond to run around. Each week the club will first meet at the Boat House at Jamaica Pond; 507 Jamaicaway, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
START DATE: April 1st and will run for 8 weeks every Wednesday from 6-7PM.
At the end of 8 weeks all of the club members will participate in a free 5k the following Saturday which is held a Jamaica Pond. This is a great goal the club will work towards. Run your first 5k this Spring!!!
Club Dates: April 1st, April 8th, April 15th, April 22nd, April 29th, May 6th, May 13th & May 20th. May 23rd will be the 5kDay!
