Kicking off the holiday season, people all across Massachusetts showed their generosity, helping to raise $250,000 for Special Olympics Massachusetts at 7 events across the Commonwealth! The first weekend in December was a successful fundraising weekend for Special Olympics Massachusetts. On Saturday December 1, Pittsfield kicked off their 9th annual Cop on Top Fundraiser at the Pittsfield Walmart, raising $30,200 in just one day! Friends and supporters of Special Olympics gathered at the JFK Library on Thursday September 27 for the Special Olympics Champions for 50 Celebration, hosted by Special Olympics Massachusetts. In 2017, Special Olympics Massachusetts was awarded a Cummings Foundation $100K for 100 Grant. The funds are helping provide additional programming in Essex County.
