Special Olympics Massachusetts is proud to host this unique event which caters to athletes over the age of 45 who train and compete in the lifetime sports of bocce, cornhole, golf skills and race walking. The annual tournament is held in one of New England’s most popular vacation spots: Cape Cod. Festivities begin on Friday evening with the Opening Ceremony at the Cape Codder Resort and Spa in Hyannis, followed by a dinner, the highly-anticipated dance and other entertainment. Saturday is full of competition and fun!

3:00—5:00 pm Team Check in
5:00 pm Athletes seated in JFK Ballroom
5:30 pm Opening Ceremonies
6:00 pm Dinner Served
7:00:pm -9:30 pm Dance
8:00 pm Coaches meeting
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17 @ BARNSTABLE HIGH SCHOOL
6:30-8:30 am Continental Breakfast at The Cape Codder Resort & Spa & check out
8:45 am Arrival for bocce / cornhole athletes to warm-up
9:00 am BOCCE and CORN-HOLE competition with awards following each division completion.
10:00 am GOLF SKILLS competition with awards following each division completion.
11:00 am -1:00 pm Lunch provided by The Parrot Head Club of Eastern MA
1:00 pm– 3:00 pm RACEWALKING events with awards immediately following heat.

Want to be a part of this great event? Special Olympics Massachusetts is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers who want to deliver sports to the 14,000 + athletes that participate in our programming.
We rely on approximately 50 to execute this event. These volunteer roles are wonderful opportunities to support, cheer on, encourage and congratulate the athletes as they compete and showcase all of their hard work and training.
