Tournament of Champions
August 22 - August 23
Summer Season-Ending Tournament in Marlborough
This summer season ending tournament includes state-level competition in bocce, cycling, golf and softball. Teams train and compete in qualifying events throughout the summer to reach this stage. Spectators are encouraged to stop by one of the venues to cheer on the athletes!
We are excited to have the assistance of the Marlborough Mayor’s office, Marlborough Economic Development Corporation and local business partners including Avidia Bank, DCU, Embassy Suites Marlborough and St. Mary’s Credit Union.
The annual gathering of over 1,000 athletes from across the state along with their coaches, families and friends descends upon greater Marlborough for one weekend each August. We look forward to adding partners in the surrounding towns including restaurants, community groups and the schools.
Get Involved – Join the Team!
This event is a great way to get involved with a local sports organization. We are proud to call Marlborough home and love partnering with our community. If you are an individual looking for a worthwhile volunteer opportunity, a youth group leader or HR director interested in ways to connect your people, please contact us to learn about all the ways you can get involved.
We rely on approximately 500 volunteers to support 1000 athletes as they compete in softball, bocce, cycling, and golf. These volunteer roles are wonderful opportunities to support, cheer-on, encourage and congratulate the athletes as they compete and showcase all of their hard work and training. Volunteer roles include:
- keeping time
- keeping score
- course marshals
- golf caddies
- assisting with event set-up and break down
- medical volunteers
