Special Olympics Massachusetts athlete and marathoner, Greg Schwartz

Congratulations to the 2017 Special Olympics Massachusetts Boston Marathon runners! Our 28 person team has a goal to raise $280,000, which will help fund the training and competition of more than 700 athletes year-round! Each runner is going above and beyond for Special Olympics and we can’t thank them enough for all of their effort, dedication and support.

The Special Olympics Massachusetts Boston Marathon team is presented by John Hancock. Each runner will be wearing a bib made possible through the John Hancock non-profit program. In 2017 John Hancock signed on as a Champion for 50 – celebrating 50 years of the Special Olympics movement – awarding 25 bibs to Special Olympics Massachusetts fundraisers. They have partnered with Greg Schwartz, a Special Olympics Athlete and 2015 & 2017 Marathoner who competes and raises money for the organization.
