2017 Falmouth Road Race Team

 Congratulations to the 2017 Special Olympics Massachusetts Falmouth Road Race team runners! Our 25 person team raised over $41,500 which will help contribute to our programs and mission to serve over 12,200 athletes we have in Massachusetts! Each runner went above and beyond for Special Olympics Massachusetts and we can’t thank you enough for all of your effort, dedication and support over the last 4 months.

Glow in the Park 5k - North Attleboro, MA

Annually held in May and organized by the Law Enforcement Torch Run, this unique Glow in the Dark race is one you don’t want to miss!

Mansfield Run with the Cops 5k - Mansfield, MA

This annual June event hits the streets of Mansfield and everybody is a suspect!

Join your local officers at Mansfield High School for 3.1 miles (or Kid’s Run) through the streets of Mansfield. The race is USATF certified and prizes will be awards to the top three runners in each age group. Be one of our first 200 runners to register and receive the official event t-shirt for free!

Run with the Cops Midnight 5k - Pittsfield, MA

That’s right – this event is as MIDNIGHT!

Annually held in July, participants at this Fun Run & Walk weave their way through fun “Copstacles” on their way to the finish line.

Duxbury Beach Triathlon

Xtra Mile and LETR are proud to partner with the very popular Duxbury Beach Triathlon!!

The Triathlon includes a .35 mile swim in the Duxbury Bay, a 13 mile bike ride and a 3 mile run along the Duxbury Beach

We are thrilled to partner with this Massachusetts tradition for the  LETR and Xtra Mile division supporting Special Olympics Massachusetts. This prestigious and limited race has given our team 25 bibs to recruit individuals as well as relay team to compete

Once you have registered for the team with our online fundraising page, you can fill out and submit the official race application.

2017 Rodman Ride for Kids

Looking for a worthwhile cycling event to sign up for? Look no further! The Rodman Ride for Kids is a great event that will take you through the scenic areas of Southeastern Massachusetts and offers a 25, 50, and 100 mile course to choose from.

Race is Saturday, September 23rd and will start and finish in Foxborough, MA.

OCTOBER 21: Trick or Trot 5k - Westfield, MA

In partnership with our Law Enforcement Torch Run program, the Trick or Trot 5k has found its new home – Stanley Park in Westfield, MA!

Join us on Saturday, October 21st for this professionally-timed, Halloween themed 5k trail run and family festival to support local Special Olympics athletes.

Post-race festivities will include a BBQ lunch, awards in race as well as costume categories, a K-9 demonstration, and more! Bring your family to the race and experience the first annual Trunk or Treat – a Halloween “trick or treat” hosted by local Law Enforcement officials!

Join the Law Enforcement Torch Run and Special Olympics MA for the annual 2017 Holiday Sweater Run in Lee, MA.

On Sunday, November 19th we’ll be kicking off the holiday season in the most fun way possible – throwing on our favorite “seasonal” sweaters and running to support the athletes of Special Olympics Massachusetts!

DECEMBER 2: Boston Jolly Jaunt 5k

On Saturday, December 2, 2017, runners and walkers from all over Massachusetts will gather on the Boston Common to take part in the 12th annual Boston Jolly Jaunt, presented by the New Balance Foundation. This professionally timed flat 5k course through Boston’s Back Bay has a fun holiday theme with prizes for best costume and jingle bells for each runner.

Our Boston Jolly Jaunt aims to raise $175,000 for the athletes of Special Olympics Massachusetts! By signing up, you’re not only getting to be part of this exciting event, but you’re also giving back to the nearly 12,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities that Special Olympics supports. Don’t forget, only the first 1,000 runners to register receive a limited edition Boston Jolly Jaunt race shirt!

Get in the holiday spirit with Special Olympics Massachusetts by participating in the Peabody Holiday Torch Run on DECEMBER 3 at Analogic, Inc. in Peabody.

Join us to run or walk and help raise money benefiting local Special Olympics athletes. This is an officially sanctioned and timed 5k, so you can come for some fun or come to compete! Bring your friends and family, walk, run and dress for the occasion! Don’t forget to enter our costume contest on race morning near registration!

2017 Boston Marathon Team

Congratulations to the 2017 Special Olympics Massachusetts Boston Marathon runners! Our 28 person team raised over $311,000 which will help fund more than 790 athletes year-round in Special Olympics! Each runner went above and beyond for Special Olympics Massachusetts and we can’t thank you enough for all of your effort, dedication and support over the last 6 months.
