Getting in shape
>> Check out the #WellnessWednesday posts on our YouTube Channel or Facebook page. Special Olympics Health Messenger, Beth Donahue along with her friends will get in in shape with periodic exercises and wellness tips.
>> Run a 5k. There are a ton of Special Olympics 5k road races across the state. So, set yourself a goal, train, and run your first or your fiftieth 5k with Special Olympics!
Run a Marathon, Ride 100 Miles on your Bike, or Compete in a Triathlon
>> If you have set a big time endurance goal, join the Xtra Mile and Run, Bike or Tri while raising awareness and much needed funds for Special Olympics Massachusetts! There are bibs available for the Boston Marathon, Falmouth Road Race, the Boston’s Run to Remember, the Rodman Ride for Kids and many other exclusive races across New England.
Give back to your community
>> Volunteer at one of the (over) 250 events throughout the year. You can help with registration, photography, medical assistance, officiating, or one of the many other roles that are critical to supporting the athletes of Special Olympics, right here in Massachusetts! Register to Volunteer Today!
>> Become a coach, assistant coach or join the Games Management Team for one of our season ending tournaments. Volunteer leadership at the local level is what keeps Special Olympics moving forward!
