Stay Fit With SOMA 5/26

This week’s theme is Live Fitness Wednesday!

Every week we have been posting exercise videos, nutrition tips, and more on our blog to provide you with opportunities to stay fit and active even at home! This blog will focus on the different Live Fitness Classes we have coming up the next 4 weeks!

Tomorrow, Wednesday 5/27:

**PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE FOR THIS WEEKS WORKOUT (THIS WEDNESDAY IS AT 5PM NOT 3PM)

Brendan Alyward of Unified Health and Performance has chosen Special Olympics to be part of his Zoom Charity Workout Series.  Special Olympics athletes are welcomed to join this week’s Wednesday night class at 5PM.

There are two ways to sign up; #1 follow the link below -> which will lead you to his website -> from there you can sign up  via the website OR #2 go to zoom    -> click on “enter meeting” -> enter  the meeting ID: 949-532-4540 and password: 121.

Wear comfortable clothes and find a room with some space to work out. Don’t forget to have water available to rehydrate!

 

Wednesday, June 3rd:

Kelly Phillips from Totally Adaptive Fitness Workout at 3PM.

Kelly teaches Adaptive Refleksiv Yoga, Laughter Yoga and Pound! Tune in to see what this week will be!

Monday June 8th: (**DIFFERENT TIME THAN NORMAL)

Hannah Gould is the Program Director at Voice Color Yoga for Autism and will be holding an hour long class at 4:30pm

The class is a 2 part class.  The 1st part of the class will be held from 4:30-5 and will focus on yoga that involves more physical movement.  The 2nd part of the class will be held from 5-5:30 and will primarily focus on a low impact/ deep stretch yoga.

We are encouraging athletes to join both parts of the class, however, if you want to join in just for just 1 part of the class you can! For those individuals who just want to focus only on stretching,  join the zoom at 5PM.

  • Live Fitness Wednesday helps you achieve your fitness goal of Fit 5, but dont forget to eat healthy and drink plenty of water!!
  • Good nutrition and hydration will make working out more fun and will help your performance!
  • It’s extremely important to remember to drink water now that the weather is getting warmer.
