Join Our Fitness Club!
Think of this club at an athlete chat but with a fitness twist!
During the 6 week session the club members will learn about and discuss different fitness topics such as hydration, food groups, workouts, and much more! Each week the club will look a little different- Some weeks the club will participate in light stretching or a workout, to discussing our favorite foods, to participating in a fun fitness activity. Below is a brief overview of what each week will look like. Please note that this schedule is not definite and can change depending on what the club is interested in!
The club will be hosted on Monday nights from 5:30-6:30 PM. The club will start on Monday February 22nd and goes until Monday, March 29th.
Zoom Link will be sent out to participants the Friday before the first class.
Each athlete who signs up will receive a pedometer!
Possible Topics, again these can change depending on what the club is interested in!
Week 1: Introductions, talking about healthy habits, goal setting
Week 2: Hydration discussion. Healthy beverage activity
Week 3: Fighting off stress. Getting a goodnight sleep followed by light stretching at the end
Week 4: Way to keep our bodies moving!
Week 5: Favorite Foods- why they are healthy or unhealthy
Week 6: Recap of the week
