Finance & Administration Manager

The Finance & Administration Manager will assist in the management and oversight of all finance, human resources, accounting, and operations duties for the entire organization. This role will be a minimum of 30 hours (full time) up to a total of 40 hours.

Job Summary: 

The Finance & Administration Manager will assistin the management and oversight of all finance, human resources, accounting, andoperations duties for the entire organization. This role will be a minimum of 30 hours (full time) up to a total of 40hours.

Key Responsibilities/Skills Needed:

  • Help develop, maintain and plan our annual fiscal year budget.
  • Oversee preparation of financial records related to general ledger, payroll, budget, expense, etc.
  • Responsible for all accounts payable duties as assigned.
  • Develop and establish vendor relationships, contracts etc.
  • Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related problems.
  • Assist in the administrative duties associated with Human Resources and Volunteer Management.
  • Oversee preparation of financial records related to general ledger, payroll, budget, expense, etc.
  • Perform account reconciliations and generate financial reports.
  • Follow standard accounting process for financial analysis and reporting activities.
  • Assist the CFO with CORI and national background checks for class A volunteers.
  • Track and monitor resource needs and other material needs for carrying out financial and administration tasks.
  • Identify, contract and setup vendors to support the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds.
  • Ability to work effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability and willingness to work with cross departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Background Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Minimum of 1-4 years in accounting/finance, administration, or related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive in a deadline driven environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite especially Excel
  • Experience with QuickBooks,
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM/volunteer software
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the following skills: Action Orientated, Decision Quality, Dealing with Change and Uncertainty, Building Effective Teams, Customer Focused and Managing Vision and Purpose.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
