Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham & Wakefield Level 1 Young Athletes Program

The Boys and Girls Club of Stoneham & Wakefield will host a Young Athletes Level 1 program for children ages 2-7 with and without intellectual disabilities, focusing on fun activities that aid in motor skill development areas such as running, jumping, balancing, kicking, catching, throwing and striking. Tabor Academy Young Athletes Program (Levels 1 and 2)

We are excited to share that Tabor Academy and Special Olympics Massachusetts are partnering together to host a Level 1 & 2 Young Athletes program this 2023 winter season! The Level 1 class will be for children ages 2-6 with and without intellectual disabilities, focusing on fun activities that aid in the development of motor skills through running, jumping, balancing, kicking, catching, throwing and more! Specific activities covered can be referenced in the Young Athletes Activity Guide. The Level 2 class will be offered for children ages 6-12, and will focus more on sport specific skill development and early game play concepts....

Basketball Training

  REGISTER NOW Special Olympics MA will be hosting a training for all basketball coaches. Coaches will be split into two groups based on ability level of team that coach oversees. All participants will have both a classroom session and on court session. Please come prepared participate but it is not required.
