2025 Burlington Train 4 Life Fitness

Date: Saturday, April 26th-July 12th

Volunteer timeframe: 1:00pm-2:00pm

Location: D1 Training

Volunteer Role: encourage and motivate athletes to stay engaged during workout, demonstrate exercises by explaining techniques, modify exercises as needed, assist with equipment including weights, mats, and exercise balls, and addressing safety concerns and taking necessary steps to provide a safe environment.

All volunteers must have an active CLASS A form on file.

We are looking for volunteers who can commit weekly to this 10-week program. Athletes benefit from a consistent volunteer to create trust and develop a strong bond with. If you are unable to commit to all weeks, please email volunteer@specialolympicsma.org to see if an exception can be made.

2025 Spring Worcester Train 4 Life Fitness

Date: Sunday, April 27th-July 13th

Volunteer timeframe: 9:30am-10:30am

Location: Uncaged Fitness

Date: Saturday mornings from May 3rd-June 8th (last session will be held on Sunday at Summer Games at Harvard)

Volunteer timeframe: 10:00am-11:00am

Location: Dewitt Center

Volunteer Roles: 1:1 interaction with Special Olympics Young Athletes ages 2-7

2025 Lynn Young Athletes - Level 1

Date: Saturdays, May 3rd through Sunday, June 8th (last session will be Sunday at Summer Games)

Volunteer timeframe: 11:00am-12:15pm

Location: Marshall Middle School

Volunteer Roles: 1:1 interaction with Special Olympics Young Athletes ages 2-7

2025 Spring East Boston Soccer Skills Center

Dates: Saturday, May 24th-June 21st (no session June 7th)

Volunteer timeframe: 11:00am-12:00pm

Location: Paris Street Community Center

112 Paris Street, East Boston, MA 02128

Volunteer Role: provide personalized 1:1 support to athletes aged 8-22, guiding them through introductory soccer skills and familiarizing them with the sport.

All volunteers must be at least 18 years old to participate and have an active Class A on file.

2025 Spring Mashpee Pickleball Clinic

Date: Wednesday evenings from May 7th-June 25th

Volunteer timeframe: 6:00pm-7:00pm

Location: Quashnet Elementary School

Volunteer Role: assist athletes with pickleball skills and drills based on lesson plan from instructor and play in games
