ABOUT THE POLAR PLUNGE

Support over 14,000 athletes by brrraving the cold this winter

Take the Polar Plunge this winter to help provide over 14,000 athletes with a safe opportunity to participate in sports training and competition programs that help them live longer, happier, healthier lives. From December through April, each plunger will commit to raise at least $100 to support Special Olympics athletes throughout the state. Every dollar raised directly supports year-round sports training and competition for athletes with intellectual disabilities in Massachusetts.

There are lots of plunges happening this year all around Massachusetts and the opportunity to plunge wherever and whenever you'd like! Events take place from December through April. Each location event occurs on a different date.
