Polar Plunge®

Take the Plunge into icy cold waters this winter to help provide over 12,000 athletes with an opportunity to participate in sports training and competition programs that help them live longer, happier, healthier lives. Each plunger will commit to raise at least $100 to support Special Olympics athletes throughout the state. Whether supporting a local program or raising money for general donations, every dollar you have raised directly supports year-round sports training and competition for athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Massachusetts.

Another successful Passion Plunge

New in 2017: Super Plunge! Think you have what it takes to be a Super Plunger? Fundraise $1,000 and plunge not once, but 24 times in 24 hours! Register as a Super Plunger and join an elite group of plungers who have committed to a full day of plunging on behalf of Special Olympics Massachusetts. The Super Plunge will kick off at 11:00am on Friday 11/24 and continue every hour until the final plunge, 10:00am on 11/25.
