Spring Season
The Spring Season is unquestionably the busiest time of year at Special Olympics Massachusetts. This season begins in mid-March and concludes in June. During this past season 11,000 Special Olympics athletes trained or participated in our events and programs. The Spring Season is host to numerous community competitions, school day games, state qualifying tournaments, and invitational events which culminate with our season ending Summer Games, held every June at Harvard University and Boston University. The following sports are offered during the Spring: Gymnastics, Power Lifting, Roller Skating, Swimming, Tennis, Track & Field, Volleyball
