2025 Dorchester Train 4 Life Fitness

Date: Mondays starting August 18th-November 10th (No session Sep. 1)

Volunteer timeframe: 6:00pm-7:00pm

Location: Inner City Weightlifting

Volunteer Role: encourage and motivate athletes to stay engaged during workout, demonstrate exercises by explaining techniques, modify exercises as needed, assist with equipment including weights, mats, and exercise balls, and addressing safety concerns and taking necessary steps to provide a safe environment.

All volunteers must have an active CLASS A form on file.

2025 Fall Charlotte Klein Dance Program

Date: Friday, September 19th-November 21st (no session on 10/31)

Volunteer timeframes: 6:30pm-7:30pm

Location: Charlotte Klein Dance Center

Volunteer Role: assist in supporting inclusive dance activities for athletes ages 16+, following lesson plans from lead instructor to promote movement, creativity, and fun

2025 Fall Dorchester Bowling Program

Date: Sunday, September 21st-December 21st (no session 10/12 & 11/30)

Volunteer timeframe: 10:00am-12:00pm

Location: Boston Bowl

820 Morrisey Blvd, Dorchester, MA 02122

Volunteer Roles: assisting athletes ages 22+ by organizing lanes to ensure equal participation, helping athletes get to their lane, and keeping athletes engaged through encouragement and socialization

Additional Details: Commitment to 75% of the volunteer shifts is preferred

2025 Fall Dorchester Basketball Skills Center

Dates: Thursday, September 25th-November 20th

Volunteer timeframe: 6:00pm-7:00pm

Location: DotHouse Health Clinic

Volunteer Role: provide personalized support to athletes aged 8-22, guiding them through introductory basketball skills and familiarizing them with the sport through stations and drills.

2025 Fall Roxbury Soccer Skills Center

Dates: Saturday, October 4th-November 8th

Volunteer timeframe: 10:00am-11:00am

Location: Ramsay Park

Volunteer Role: provide personalized support to athletes aged 8-22, guiding them through introductory soccer skills and familiarizing them with the sport with stations and drills.

2025 Fall Lynn Young Athletes - Level 1

Date: Saturday, September 27th-November 8th

Volunteer timeframe: 10:00am-11:00am

Location: Marshall Middle School

100 Brookline Street, Lynn, MA 01902

Volunteer Roles: Guiding children with autism/intellectual disabilities, ages 2 to 7, through a variety of exercises to help development their motor and social interaction skills. No experience needed.
