The Emerson College Athletic community is proud to help Special Olympics Massachusetts celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Special Olympics Movement.

Anna Whitted has been a Game Changer for the past two years, volunteering at numerous tournaments and fundraising events and being a true ambassador for the Special Olympics movement.

Tyler Lagasse of Tyngsboro will be the lone golfer from Massachusetts heading to the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle, WA. As a high-level competitor, Tyler qualified to compete in the elite athlete division at Willows Run.

Participating in Special Olympics has given Vincent Pirro the opportunity to be strong and healthy. Now 22 years old, Vincent began competing with Special Olympics at age 9.

Special Olympics Massachusetts athlete, Brandon Moore is heading to Seattle, WA along with the 49 other athletes and Unified partners who make up Team Massachusetts.

Team Massachusetts joined thousands of athletes, coaches, and Unified partners in Seattle July 1-7 for the 2018 USA Games.

Unified Sports in schools, high schools, middle schools, or elementary schools is a program that can make a student with a disability feel included, spread awareness, and help change the life of any athlete that participates in the program.
