Meet Xtra Mile Falmouth Road Race Runner, Beth Donahue!

August 15, 2018

Beth Donahue has been a part of Special Olympics for 20 years. Her motto is "Try new things and challenge myself whenever I can".  She stays true to this motto, as she has just recently joined a Special Olympics Massachusetts softball team, to add to her already busy schedule of soccer, skiing, track and leading Zumba classes for other Special Olympics athletes. Beth says that running "made me feel healthy and strong" and she is proud of running the Falmouth Road Race last year!

Beth is constantly training for the Falmouth Road Race, she runs almost every day and cross trains with cycle, Bootcamp and Zumba classes. She is always looking forward to going for a run, no matter the weather, and she even likes to go for runs with her dog Cooper.

Gina, Beth's mom is also running and they have started fundraising for the race through Facebook. They are hoping to beat their fundraising goal this year!

Thank you for all your fundraising and training efforts, and good luck at the Falmouth Road Race Beth!
